In the spare time
Ringerike has much to offer. The Grand Hotel is situated
just minute away from the town center, where you find various
shops with nice prices.
Ringerikes Museum is located in Norderhov old rectory.
Here you can see estate interior, an icon collection, rune
stones, the fairytail collector Jørgen Moe`s private
belongings and the museum of the home front.
On the nothern side of the town bridge you’ll find
"Riddergården". This has been a patrician farm since 1730.
This was the home of the chief for the local sawmill for
generations.
Just outside Hønefoss you’ll find
Tyrifjord Golfclub. This is one of the country's most
beautiful golf links.
